Membership and Program Assistant
County Engineers Association of Ohio
The County Engineers Association of Ohio is currently seeking a Membership and Program Assistant to team with its Executive Director, Board of Directors and other staff members. The ideal candidate will need to be a reliable team player with a general understanding of office procedures, non profits and conference planning.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of customer service or member service experience required, preferably in a trade association or hotel setting
- Ability to work with statewide membership and vendors
- Strong computer skills, proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word) and QuickBooks
- Experience with data entry and website updates using content management system
- Proven organization and time management skills, ability to multitask and attention to detail and accuracy
- Accounting functions to include processing accounts receivable and invoicing
- General office administrative functions such as greeting guests at our reception desk, answering phones, filing, copying, mailings, processing conference registrations, and other special projects as assigned
- Ability to work on-site during the association’s conferences and events
- Occasional overnight travel required during conferences/events and regional meetings
Minimum Educational Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in communications, education, business, public administration or related accounting field from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Recent college graduates welcome. This position is located in our Columbus, Ohio office.
